Land Based Dolphin Watching
Picture the scene. You are sitting somewhere on the Moray Firth, looking out to sea. Scanning back and forth. You see a splash in the distance. Gulls circling in the air. At first you are not sure but then the splashes become more distinct and you realise there are dolphins out there. They are travelling towards you. Even after you've watched them for some time it's often difficult to work out how many there are.
Some of the dolphin spotting locations are so quiet that you and the people you are with might be the only ones watching! Sometimes you will see experienced dolphin watchers who will be happy to tell you about there experiences dolphin watching. Land based dolphin watching is a very rewarding experience. On this stretch of the Moray Firth they are often spotted.
Good luck and we hope you see some dolphins!
